The CBSE Class 12th Board exam results were announced on 25 May, 2015, for the academic year 2014-2015. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is most likely to declare the Class 12th result 2016 at the end of May. For the year, 2015-2016, around 10,40,368 CBSE students appeared for 12th exam 2015. Reportedly, around 4,32,985 girls appeared for CBSE 12th exam while the number of boys who appeared for the exam was 6,07,383. Last year, the CBSE 12th pass percentage was 82%. It was also reported that while around 77.77% boys passed CBSE 12th exam, the girl's have again outperformed boys with the pass percentage of 87.55%.
