The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) usually conducts the Class 10th examination during the month of March. This year, the CBSE Board exams 2016 were conducted from 1st March to 28th March 2016. This year, more than 14.9 lakh students had registered for the CBSE class 10 board exams 2016 which is an increase of nearly 9%. For the academic year 2014-2015, the result was declared on 28 May, 2015.
The Class 10th board results are announced during the month of May. Around 13, 73,853 total students appeared for CBSE Class 10th exam 2015. As per the details submitted by the board, about 97.82 % girls passed CBSE 10th exam outperforming boys. The reports stated that 96.98% boys passed CBSE 10th exam. Further, the CBSE Class 10th pass percentage 2015 was recorded as 97.3%.
