The CBSE Class 12 Results are announced every year in May and this forms a basis for students across India to take admissions to the UG level of education in universities. The CBSE Class 12 Result forms the foundation of a student's career as it decides in which university would a student take admission. The CBSE Class 12th Results are of special significance because of this. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), being one of the largest educational boards of India, conducts the Class 12th examination every year, for which approximately 10 lakh students appear annually. For the academic year 2014-2015, the CBSE Class 12 Board results were declared on 25 May, 2015. The exams for 2015-2016 session were conducted from 1st March to 22nd April, 2016. More than 10.67 lakh students registered for the CBSE class 12 board exams 2016 which is 2.65% more than last year's numbers. Most of the central, state and private universities start their admission process after the declaration of CBSE 12th results.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is most likely to declare the CBSE 12th result 2016 at the end of May. For the year, 2015-2016, around 10,40,368 CBSE students appeared for 12th exam 2015. Reportedly, around 4,32,985 girls appeared for CBSE 12th exam while the number of boys who appeared for the exam was 6,07,383. Last year, the CBSE 12th pass percentage was 82%. It was also reported that while around 77.77% boys passed CBSE 12th exam, the girl's have again outperformed boys with the pass percentage of 87.55%.
